My husband has the nest cam live camera feed playing on his iPhone all night via the nest app and it constantly makes this loud screechy static sound every couple seconds. He is able to sleep right through it but it drives me crazy. Please help me fix this. It sounds awful and if I hear one more time to just ignore it I’m gonna be in divorce court. It’s not like I want to focus on it by choice.

Sounds like a feedback loop. The phone is playing the sound from the camera that the camera is picking up, then the camera can barely hear the phone's speaker sounds and sends that amplified back to the phone causing a feedback. It is like when you hold a microphone in front of a speaker. Maybe you can put the phone on mute or turn the microphone off the camera.

The camera is actually off n another room so not even near the iPhone that is playing the live video.
