Nest Application

Frustrated3
Community Member

I recently purchased a Nest Camera 2nd gen and set it up no problem under Google home, however, installing the Nest app on my android phone and linking it to my google account there is no activity saved at all, I have paid subscription through google but I see no activity at all in the Nest app. I tried to add a device under the Nest app, but it says it must be setup in Google Home which I have already. Any thoughts why I cannot see my activity under the Nest app? Thanks in advance guys.

Very sad to let you know that the new NEST cams do not work with the NEST app.  Only the Google Home app. And not only that but there is no way to view the new cams from your computer's browser.  I very sadly ended up returning mine.   NEST says that sometime in 2022 we will see improvements to the Google Home app.  But I have my doubts that it will ever be as good as the Nest app which is fantastic.
