Nest Battery doorbell only storing last (actual) 3hrs

Hi,

I recently purchased the Nest battery doorbell and its generally been fine. For the first time I've had reason to need to review an event from earlier in the day and found to my surprise that I can only view events that occurred in the last three hours.

I know the storage for the doorbell is three hours but I assumed, and still do, that this relates to the sum total of all the 'events' and not to the time now -3hrs regardless of whether the camera was idle or recording events during that time. Looking at the history I see 'No recorded events' for anything outside of today in the last 3 hrs

I'm sure it wasn't like this when I first installed because, well, it would be almost worthless as a feature if it was so I assume I've either changed something or something has gone wrong with the unit so would appreciate any ideas on how to fix.

Thanks

I believe you have to purchase the Nest Aware subscription to get that feature. Find out more here: https://store.google.com/product/nest_aware?hl=en-US&gclid=CjwKCAiA7dKMBhBCEiwAO_crFKP4e2fI9G2679cva...
