Nest CAM WITH FLOODLIGHT - BATTERY WON'T RE-CHARGE

*** This has been working for 2-3 months *** I had an electrician HARDWIRE the Nest Cam/Flood into our old flood-light only in the driveway. Added the camera/flood and BOTH worked perfectly for a couple months. The other night, the BATTERY on the CAMERA went to 0% and WILL NOT RE-CHARGE - so the flood says "No Response" (though it still works) and the camera says "offline" battery 0% EVEN THOUGH THE LIGHT SWITCH IS ON ALL THE TIME AND THE FLOOD LIGHTS WORK SO POWER GETS TO THE CAM/FLOOD. 

One of the 'solutions' on this site was to delete the camera from the Home app, do a factory reset and re-add the camera/flood. HOWEVER, I assume because the battery is at 0% I can not add this back because our Wi Fi - which works fine with everything else  - never finds the camera, so it can't add it. BRUTAL. 

My guess is the camera is totally dead.
