Nest Cam Battery - Setup is taking longer than expected

I purchased 4 google nest cam battery. All of them connect to the wifi without problem. However, when I get to the end, it states "Setup is taking longer than expected, try again later". I've been at this for HOURS now. What's going on? I'm about to just head back to Best Buy and return these camera. 

Please help the community out!

Still not working for me. Nothing happens when I click “finish setup”. I even deleted and downloaded the app again. 

I'm not sure which product you're trying to complete setup on, but for the product that I was trying to complete the setup on (doorbell), I had to hard reset the thing and then was able to work through the setup. 

I hope that helps...

Try removing the cam from your device list. Resetting the camera and adding it from scratch again. That works for me on all of the cameras.

Setup works again but interestingly under events on the Next Doorbell (battery) it comes up "problem connecting to Cloud". Restarted Router etc.. wonder if the app still has issues and they only deployed a server end workaround.

Disregard.. changing the colour of the event location actually fixed it <boggles>

yep, its fixed... no official acknowledgement from Google that I have seen though...

Battery doorbell and cameras still don’t work for me.

Battery cameras and doorbell just flash white and “something went wrong” message appears. So frustrating.

I've been struggling with two out of 4 of these battery cameras.  I can't get it to set up no matter what I do. And I have 10 other nest cams/thermostats/smoke detectors.   I never had any issues with Nest until google took over and introduced these new cameras that only work with Google Home.  I can't belive they ruined something that worked so easily.

I need to add more cameras to my new house, but if this is the future or nest I'd rather ditch these and start over with simplisafe or a custom system.
