I set up the camera using the Nest app on Android and it was working fine. About 30 minutes later it goes offline and nothing I do will get it back online. I tried:
-restarting the app and my phone
-unplugging and plugging the camera back in (minute+)
-using other known-good outlets
-removing the camera from my app and attempting to reinstall via the QR code, the app is unable to detect the camera
-factory resetting the camera (did not respond as the video said it would, no blue flashing light or any visual/audio response)
-the ONLY thing the camera does is light up the blue ring when I plug it in, it lasts for about 3 seconds and then goes dark and doesn't respond to anything until I unplug/replug it again
This camera was a gift from a gift exchange at a party so I don't have any receipt or purchase information. It was brand new in the original packaging.

Your Nest Cam IQ Indoor may have been in its original packaging, but it's at least 4 years old, since Google Nest quit selling them in August 2021 (https://9to5google.com/2021/08/05/nest-cam-discontinued-google-new-models/). I don't know if that explains what's happening with yours.
