I have 2 IQ Outdoor cameras: One works fine and the other just suddenly stopped.
I tried the other adapter from the working camera (USB-C to power cord adapter), but that did not work.
I would try the USB-C cable from the working one. But that would be a headache, because it's already clipped/mounted against the walls/frames.
It's either the cable or the camera. Can you please advise?
Best,
Evan

Can you test the cable by moving the working camera over to the location of the non-working one and seeing if it comes on line? Honestly it sounds like your camera is broken. I had one go out about 2 years ago and luckily for me it was in warranty. You may just want to buy a used cam on Ebay or any other place. I don't believe Google will be of any assistance here as they do not repair cameras.

The cameras are about 30 feet high, I’m trying to avoid going up there multiple times….

Hello?

Sorry, I didn't know you were waiting on an answer. You didn't actually ask a question. I think you are just going to have make multiple trips up the ladder. I don't see an alternative. I know it is a bummer as I have been there several times myself. Be careful and stay safe if you proceed with doing it.

Hey there,
I am sorry to hear that you have a non-working Nest Cam IQ! It sounds like there may have been some sort of malfunction. You will definitely want to go up and see if you have the option to restart or Factory Reset the camera. You can learn how here. Please let me know if you need further assistance.
Best regards,
Brad.

Hi Brad,
Currently it is plugged in, but there is no light/leds active.

So it's the Nest IQ outdoor camera that does not work.
I just tested it with a brand new cable my wife's coworker had in storage.
I even tried it on 3 different working outlets to make sure it wasn't my electrical.
Can someone please advise?

Yes, as I said. Buy a used one from ebay. That is what I did twice, and they both worked great and I was back up and running in no time.

Kind of expensive for a product that died within 2~ years....

Yes, that is why I went with the regular Nest Outdoor cam instead of the IQ. For me the extra little features of the IQ were not worth it.

This doesn't help with customer support / warranty....
This is basically a $300+ camera that fails within a couple of years?
Are you protecting Google for creating poorly made / designed products???
