Nest Cam| Indoor| Wired| 2nd gen.

Purchased 2 Nest Cam, wired, indoor, 2nd gen. cameras to add to my existing Dropcam group of 6 cameras. It wasn't until after I purchased & WiFi connected them, and found out that they cannot use the Nest App for display, can only be displayed using Google Home.  Is there an App that I can use to display all of my cameras at the same time and is there an App for Windows 10 or 11?

Unfortunately, there is no web access access to the new cameras :(.   Google has said that it is something they are working on, but I don't know when or if that will ever happen.  I'm not aware of any single app that will do all of the cameras, but others more familiar with the older cameras, might chime in with a solution.

In the short term, one way to sort of get PC access to the new cameras is to run an Android emulator on your PC.    The most popular one is called BlueStacks.   It emulates an Android compatible device(running Android), which you can then load the Home app into.  It's ok to just get basic access to your cameras (and the other features of the Home app, of course).  One note on doing something like this, I'd recommend you not use your primary google credentials in the emulator. Instead, create a new google account (with different credentials of course), and then give that account access to the same Google home.   This provides a little protection for your primary google credentials.

Thanks for responding.  I would have approached the addition of the extra cameras had I known that there was a compatibility issue with my existing cameras.  If and when you receive news about Google addressing this issue, would greatly appreciate a posting.
