Nest Cam Outdoor or Indoor, battery, won’t set up in nest app or google home

I just bought a Nest Cam Outdoor or Indoor Battery and the set up instructions feel me to plug it into power, then get the Google home app, and then tap the + to add the camera. When I do that, in the Google home app, it tells me to use the Nest App to set it up. So when I go into the Nest App to set it up, it tells me to use Google Home App. I can’t get past that point in either. Each app is pointing me to the other and I’m stuck in a dead end.

Sooooo if you purchased the new-gen cameras that were just released about 6 months ago then they 100% do not work with the NEST app.   And if the Google Home app is telling you to use the NEST app then I believe that means you need to update the Google Home app to the newest version.  If you are on an iPhone go to the app store and find the Google Home app and if it says "Update" then do that and I believe it should fix the problem.
