Nest Cam not connecting

New Nest Cam (indoor, wired) is missing QR Code and won't connect with my app and when i put in the serial number it is supposed to give me a list to choose from and nothing comes up.

The sticker on the face of the camera with the QR code was missing?

Are you using the Google Home app for the install?  Sometimes using the wrong app can cause what you're seeing.

You have to twist rubber bottom thing off to get code.     Took me 2 hours with support

Same issue only the back of my unit and the instructions both had the 6 character QR code.  I just keep getting stuck at the serial number thing like you at setup. It says to select from a list that should supposedly appear but never does.

Try installing in google home    I had same hang up in nest      Then it worked
