Nest Cam not playing video

No video playback on app. I do have a subscription.  Used to work fine.

I’m dealing with the same thing.  I’ve been using nest cams for years, back when they were dropcams.  Lately all I can see is 3 hours back when an event occurred, or when the cam decides it wants to actually create one.  What happened to 24 jr playback, non eventful, nothing cool happening, but still recording and viewable for a month playback?  So dumb.  Bout to switch to a diff system.

If you're only getting event history for the last 3 hours, you may no longer have a Nest Aware subscription. You can check your subscription here:

https://store.google.com/subscriptions?hl=en-US

You can also check it under Settings | Nest Aware in the Google Nest app or Google Home app.

Hey folks,

 

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries, we'll check this out. When did it start happening? Were there changes made with the setup, settings, and/or app of the Nest camera? Also, could you check if you still have an active Nest Aware subscription? Open the Google Home app, tap Settings > under Features, tap Nest Aware > at the bottom, tap Manage Subscription.
