Hello - I'm running into an issue with a nest doorbell (battery) and a new nest cam with floodlight that I'm trying to add to my home. The doorbell has been installed and working properly for about a year. Now trying to install a new nest cam with floodlight and i keep getting the 'can't connect to assisting device' error. I've tried setting up a new 'home' and then connecting the cam/floodlight. It will work, then when I try to add the doorbell to that one, i get the same error. How do I get both installed on the same 'home' or am i stuck with one being a brick?

Once you've installed your floodlight camera in the new temporary "home", can you then remove it from the Google Home app and then select your regular "home" and add the camera there?
If you get the same "assisting device" error, can you temporarily turn off your doorbell?
(The "assisting device" error has been a real nuisance for some customers, with no solution from Google Nest.)

I ended up doing a factory reset on the doorbell and then all connected to the same home. Both are up and running now.
