I would like to reset my camera/doorbell but it is installed to the brick outside of my home. I don’t want to remove it. My ex is the main account on it and when I removed him, I lost access as well. Can I reset without removing the doorbell somehow and ensure that he does not have access?

You can't reset it using the app, you will need to physically remove it from the wall. See the "Nest Doorbell 2nd gen (wired)" section underneath "Factory reset" at the bottom linked below.

Once reset, set it up in a new home structure that they do not have access to as a home member.
