I've been dealing with this issue for months and have tried several suggestions but I can't seem to find a solution. I'm beginning to wonder if my NEST camera is faulty or the camera itself intentionally turns itself off randomly so that I am encouraged to purchase the Nest Aware Plus subscription (I have a Nest Aware subscription). My event history has long and frequent gaps in the recording. I've attached an image of my recording history over the last 3-4 hours.
The messages displayed in the "off" (light coloured) times are different. Sometimes it says its disconnected and that I should check the wifi, other times it says its not available. During these times, the green light on the device is off. I have tried:
Please suggest other things I can do, without having to purchase anything else, otherwise I will have to throw this camera away and end my nest aware subscription. The camera was not available for the last porch package stealing incident we had.

Dear KHendricks, this has nothing to do with the router. Not sure why every one always jumps to the router as being issue.
I am having the same issue and lo and behold I had to play around with the home assist to keep it from saying I was away. And further more, this turned my camera off.
