Nest Camera Home Page NOT Streaming on my PC

I'm been using nest for years.  After investigating other provides (like Arlo), I decided to stay with Nest (Google), adding doorbells and other new Nest products on order.  However, today my home.nest.com/home camera page (showing all cameras on one webpage) has STOPPED providing a live stream.  The multi-camera view continues to live stream on my iPhone.  I have made NO changes to any component of my system to lead to the live stream failure.  I have rebooted my system, but I have NOT reset the cameras (that is too much work at this point).  

Investigating this problem, I see other people have experienced this same problem.

Does anyone know why this happened and if there is a fix?

Thank you for your feedback on this issue, I fully understand the frustrations of not having your new Nest Cams in the Nest App or available on https://bit.ly/3HtBgJC web app. I can imagine having to use two different apps at the moment is quite daunting, and could lead to frustration. 

 

However, the new Nest cameras and doorbell are exclusive to the Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with your speakers and displays. A Nest Aware subscription applies to all of your cameras, speakers, and displays in the same home structure. Thank you for your continued patience, and support. Most likely Google could not keep the Nest Engineers for any new integrations.
Thus, you can only see the live streaming via the Google Home app.
I hope I'm wrong, but often Google support teams only support fix things whenever they feel like it.

Hi Brad,
It will be great, if you could help. I belive most of us here, would like to these.

1) If it is going to be Home App only going forward, please make sure "History" could be see/support with the older cameras.
2) Most of us will prefer having the option to see all the cameras (old and new) in one page on a browser, like the Nest Web App (https://home.nest.com/)`

Is this too much to ask? and too hard for Google to fix their own mistakes?

  1. Open the Google Home app

  2. At the top right, tap your account.
  3. Tap Feedback 

and then

  1. tap the type of device you'd like to submit feedback for.
  2. To display available emails, in the "From:" section, tap the arrow on the right. Select your email address.
  3. In the feedback summary, write a brief description of your issue.
  4. Be sure to check the box for Screenshot and System logs.
  5. To submit feedback, at the top right corner, tap Send
