The volume on my wife’s android is super low when people at the door are talking. They can hear her fine, but she can barely hear them. I have an iOS device and do not have that problem.

Hey there,
If you are having issues with your Nest Cam or Nest Doorbell, I would suggest that you first start by restarting it.
Restart: Keeps all your settings, and it should reconnect to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever becomes frozen, has trouble reconnecting to the internet, or isn't working normally.

Have you made sure that the app and cams are up to date on their software?

Yes - everything is up to date, including the app on my wife's phone. The volume is still super low.
