Nest Camera Wifi connection lost notification

Tim2407

I am not able to turn off Nest Camera Wifi connection lost push notifications via Nest App. Although I switched off the wifi connection lost notifications via the Google Home app. I receive those alerts via Nest App, while I changed the settings in Home app. That might be the cause of the issue? Can someone help me in getting those specific wifi connection lost push notifications off?

Hi,

Yes the issue stil persists. Nothing works. I can change the settings in Google Home app, but that doesnt fix the issue.

Every single time I receive this wifi connection lost notification via Google Nest app.

I see what you are saying now. Unfortunately, this is a default notification that is sent when the connection is lost. There isn't an option to turn that off I am afraid. But I would suggest that you move your wifi closer to your Cam so you get less of those notifications. It probably doesn't have a strong connection which is why it is going in and out and you are getting all those alerts about it.

Best regards,

Brad.

I understand but that isnt a proper solution, dont you agree? When during the night I receive a notification, I only want to get one when it is alarming. Not when the wifi connection is broken. It should not be that complex to implement such a feature

I see what you are saying, I would say that I deem any notification coming from my cameras as important, so me personally, I would prefer to receive all alerts. But this is excellent feedback, and a great feature request which ill submit for you forward.

Best regards,

Brad.
