We purchased the nest camera with floodlight on Prime day and they have been installed properly. I am aware that we can only use them in the google home app (which is really annoying as all my other products are in the nest app) but what I am peeved about is I cannot get any of my history on the floodlight cameras. We installed them yesterday and I know there were events that happened after we installed them and throughout the night and when I go back to check the events- it says no event history. I have the nest aware subscription and it is currently active so I don’t understand why there would be no recording or past events saved.
I hope there is a way to fix it- I really want to return the cameras but I will.

Hey Aatkibrown12!
Try looking into the camera settings of your Floodlight camera. You can choose which events the camera sees and then records. You can access these settings by selecting the camera in your home app > clicking the gears in the top right hand corner > select Events. From here you can choose to record things like people, animals, vehicles or any motion in general.
Hopeful that helps you!

Thanks. I’ve checked them and I have the events I want recorded but they aren’t being recorded. I got the notifications all last night and this morning in the early hours and when I went to check them- it still says no event history.

Do you find it is the event history that is 3 hours or older that is missing in your event history? If so, It may also be the Nest Aware subscription you have. I have the 1st gen subscription for my OG Nest Doorbell that runs in my nest app, but when Google took over they updated Nest Aware. So any new devices added aren't included as part of the original subscription.
It's a bit hard to explain I included a link below which you can read over and make more sense of it.

Yeah it says 3 hour event. Which is stupid! I also have the OG Nest aware subscription for my doorbell, indoor camera and my backyard camera. I just added the indoor camera maybe a two weeks ago and it was fine and works perfect and then I just add the outdoor cameras and now this crap. So frustrating.

Those are prices in Canadian dollars, I believe.

Google has been having this issue a lot as I see many people reporting this. The best way to get it fixed is to talk to an actual Google Nest tech. Open a support ticket at this link and you will be able to get someone on the phone. I'm pretty sure the problem is something they have to fix at their end.

Thanks. I will submit a ticket right now- I really don’t want to pay have to upgrade the subscription.
