I just purchased the new wireless nest camera. I purposely bought the power cord so I don't have to charge it. However, it shows the battery level and does not show that it is powered by the cord. I'm concerned that the new camera does not recognize it had constant power and I will have to charge it. Please advise if there is something I can do in the Home App for this to correct itself.

We have one of the new Google Nest Battery Cameras, connected with one of Google's 10-meter power cords. When we look at Battery under Settings, it always says "Plugged in" and shows an infinity symbol in a circle. I'm just another Google Nest customer, but I'm not aware of anything you can do in the Google Home app to affect this. Is your power cable plugged into the camera securely, with the cable facing the front of the camera? (One of the odd things about this camera is that the cable goes out towards the FRONT of the camera.)

Ahh, thank you for your reply. After a little investigation, I had the cord put in backwards. Simple solution had I looked 1st. Status is now plugged in. Thank you for your help.
