Nest Connector is not included

My Nest Doorbell did not include or list the Nest Connector on the "Let's get started" card that came with the doorbell.  So is the Nest Connector needed or can I just connect the doorbell to the two wires of my old doorbell?

The new Google Nest Doorbell (Battery) released starting in 2021 does not use the Chime Connector used by the Google Nest Hello Doorbells (which we have, and which Google has decided to rename "Nest Doorbell (wired)"--see https://store.google.com/product/nest_doorbell_wired?hl=en-US). If you really have the new Google Nest Doorbell (Battery), I have no idea why Google Nest would reference the Chime Connector (or call it "the Nest Connector") on the "Let's get started" card. Yours is the second post I've seen talking about this mis-information.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. What type of Nest Doorbell are you using?

I would recommend checking these articles on how to install your Nest Doorbell as well as the parts included:

Several customers in this forum have reported that the printed installation instructions that came with their Google Nest Doorbell (Battery) mistakenly included instructions for the Chime Connector that is used with the Google Nest Hello Doorbell (aka Nest Doorbell [wired]).

Google Nest should address this packaging error.
