Nest Doorbell (2nd Gen) notifications not appearing on my Pixel 9 Pro XL.

I just upgraded to the Pixel 9 Pro XL.  Notifications seem to be working for all my apps except I don't receive any Google Home notifications from my Nest Doorbell.  My wife is receiving them on her S2O+.  We also receive the notifications on our Samsung Tab 7.  Before upgrading I was receiving the notifications on my previous phone the S22+.

I have set my tablet and new phone side by side to compare all the notification settings - Google Home, Nest, etc., and have not been able to find anything that doesn't match.  

Also, I am able to open the doorbell camera in my Google Home app and see the life view as well as all the 'events' that the camera recognized that I did not receive a notification for.  

Everything related to the doorbell seems to be functioning as it should, and my Pixel 9 XL Pro is as well.  The exception is the notifications on my phone for events the Nest Doorbell picked up.

Please help.

I am also experiencing the same issue on my Pixel 9 Pro Fold. I am hoping Google sends our a fix soon.

Hello Nerys,

• Personally I am not receiving any notifications from Nest, my Nest Hello doorbell or my Nest IQ indoor or outdoor cameras.
• My Pixel 9 Pro Fold build number is: AD1A.240905.004.
• My Google Home app version is: 3.22.1.4.
• My Nest app version is: 5.78.0.8.
• My Android version is: 14 with September security patch.
• Yes, I have checked both my Nest and Google Home app notification permissions and all are allowed. 

After a bit of a Google search it seems many people are experiencing the same thing, and it seemed the same was true when the Pixel 8 line was released, not sure what the issue was then. I never had any issues when I moved to my previous phone, the Pixel Fold (which is from the Pixel 7 line).

Any help would be very much appreciated, as at the moment I have not security.

I'm also experiencing this issue after moving from Pixel 6 Pro to Pixel 9 Pro. Apparently it's a known bug?

I filled out the form a couple of days ago. I'm encountering the same issue on both my Pixel Tablet and Pixel 7 Pro.

I've found somewhat of a solution. Been experiencing this for about a week. Go to the Google Home App, Settings and Public Preview. I enrolled onto that and after an hour or so, opened the Home app and it asked me if I wanted to permanently move my cameras over. So I did this, and now I'm receiving camera notifications through Home and can Uninstall Nest

I've been on the Home Public Preview for quite some time now on my phone. The Battery doorbell (the one I have, maybe not the one OP has) only can be installed through the Home app and not the Nest one. A few days ago I had working notifications after a factory reset for about a day and then they stopped working without any other changes. All through the Home app.
