Hi, we are in the early stages of setting up a new doorbell battery version to our home which already has 5 Google Home Hub/Mini devices. I have noticed when the doorbell is pressed we get an alert spoken through every one of the devices on every room. How do I go about setting up so that the alert only comes through say 2 of the 5 devices? I can't seem to find an option in the Home app. TY 🙏

We have the older wired Google Nest Hello doorbells and not the new Google Nest Battery Doorbell. But maybe the setup for the new doorbell in the Google Home app is the same as for the old Google Nest Hello Doorbells in the Google Nest app. On our doorbells, there's a "Visitor Announcements" option for each doorbell--at the doorbell level--and the announcement just gets broadcast to all Google Nest Hubs and Minis.
I've seen posts where other customers have said it would be nice to enable "Visitor Announcements" for each Hub or Mini.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Yes I see the visitor announcement and notifications are either just On or Off, doesn't appear to be any option to tailor to each device. That's a real shame! I have a Nest Mini in my daughter's room, I'm hoping as I've set it to Downtime between 20.30-8.00am that it won't alert if the doorbell is activated within those times?

Hopefully, for your daughter's sake (and yours), that works. This Google Nest Help page (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9141231?hl=en) says "You won't receive notifications on your device." You could always test it with a different schedule when she's awake just to make sure.

What you get for video history depends on which Nest Aware subscription you have and what camera:

You could try the "Contact us" option under "Nest Aware Premier Care" on the page below to "Get 24/7 access to Nest Aware Experts on the Nest Customer Care team. They’re available to answer questions, help you access features, and manage your subscription."
(I'm just another Google Nest customer.)

Hi Colleen1,
I'm dropping by to ensure that everything is covered here. How's it going with your Nest Doorbell? Were you able to hit the link I've shared? In case you have an update, you know where to find us.
Regards,
Emerson
