Are people still having issues with video quality on their Nest Doorbell (Battery) since 2024? My videos are just blurry. Prior to the update, the video feed was great. The camera lens is clean and the firmware version is 1.75 OPENMASTER 440524.

Hi TT07,
Thanks for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing blurry video quality on your Nest Doorbell Battery. I understand how frustrating that can be, and I'm here to help.
To better understand the situation and troubleshoot effectively, could you please provide the following information?
How strong is the Wi-Fi signal at the location of your Nest Doorbell?
Are you observing the blurriness in the live feed, recorded video, or both?
Approximately how far is the Nest Doorbell from your Wi-Fi router?
Do you have any other Nest Cameras, and if so, are they experiencing the same video quality issues?
Could you please provide a screenshot of the blurry video? This will help me get a clearer picture of the issue.
I look forward to your response so we can work towards a resolution.
Regards,
Kevin

Kevin,
Wi-Fi signal is strong because the Nest Wifi Pro is less than 10 feet away. That Wi-Fi Point has a "Great Connection" to the main Wi-Fi Point.
The blurriness is in the Live Fee and the Recorded Video.
The Nest Doorbell is less than 10 feet from the nearest Nest Wi-Fi Pro Point.
I have 3 other Nest Cameras and they are all functioning well with no blurry images or video.
I tried to upload my screenshots, but it won't allow me to upload because I cannot save the images. I have tried multiple times.

Hello TT07,
Thank you for your response. Let's work together for a solution.
First, could you try restarting your Doorbell? You can find the specific restart steps for your device here: Restart or factory reset Nest camera or doorbell. Sometimes, a simple restart can fix those minor glitches.
Next, let's make sure the lens is clean. For the body of the camera, just use a soft cloth to gently wipe away any dust or dirt.
For the lens itself, it's best to use a soft, lint-free cloth. Eyeglass or optics cleaning cloths are perfect because they're designed to remove dust and oily fingerprints without damaging the lens coatings. You could also use a compressed air duster, the kind made for electronics, to blow away any loose particles.
If you have tougher smudges, like oily fingerprints, you can dampen the cloth slightly with a cleaning solution made specifically for cameras, eyeglasses, or other optics. Just be sure not to use anything too harsh!
Give those steps a try, and let me know if the spots or smudges clear up. If not, we can explore some other options.
Best regards,
Kevin

Kevin,
I went through the factory reboot, made sure the lens is clean and it is still blurry. It seems like the focal point in the camera is set in the wrong place after the firmware update. Video was great and now it's been blurry for months.

I wish I could post the videos and screenshots, but for some reason I cannot. I went through customer service and they couldn't help either.
