Hello,
How does the Nest Doorbell -wired version work in cold weather? I have read many posts about the Nest Doorbell battery version and its limitations with charging and cold weather operation. How low of a tremp will the wired version work in? Does it have issues below -4F?
Thanks!

Our Google Nest Hello Doorbells (the 1st gen wired doorbells) do just fine in Minnesota winters down to around -20F and have never gone out because of cold.

Our wired outdoor Nest cams did fine in the brutal freeze we had in Texas 2 years ago. No problems whatsover.

Hey there,
I am glad to hear you're interested in the Nest doorbell (wired) and I think you'll enjoy it. As it is not battery powered, @MplsCustomer is correct; it can be in colder weather down to -20F. If you have any further questions, you can learn more here.
Best regards,
Brad
