Nest Doorbell camera unavailable

On initial install, everything worked correctly. Then it stopped working a few months after install. No clear cause.

I can receive notifications and battery status from the device, it definitely has connection to the network. However no video clips are being saved. The camera appears to be idle, but when Live View is selected it becomes Camera Unavailable.

I have removed and readded the device to my network. I have tried resetting the camera, resetting the wifi, and factory defaulting the camera. I've tried placing the device closer to my wireless access points.

I have a Google Nannycam on the network working just fine.

Are there any developer tools to look at the device? Does it use a RTSP stream? It has network access. What other tools exist to troubleshoot?

Running on firmware 1.59 OPENMASTER 278788

Problem results when using both Android and IoS Google Home.

I'm having the exact issue that you are, and it started last week.  I posted this same issue in a different thread and so I hope this gets noticed.

I've sent a couple of messages that this thread can be closed because my issue ultimately turned out to be a hardware problem.
