Nest Footage Lost when Renewing Subscription

I had footage on my nest app that I am now needing from a previous date. I had a subscription for google nest that would save events. I upgraded this subscription to be 24/7 and now all the footage from before I upgraded is gone. When I go back to before I upgraded the subscription it tells me that the camera was offline, when I know it wasn't. I had been looking at the footage from that time prior to upgraded. Please help

Uh-oh! I'm sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing with your Google Nest subscription and the missing footage. 

 

Verify that your subscription upgrade to 24/7 recording was successfully processed and is active. Sometimes, it may take a short time for changes to propagate across all systems. Close and reopen the Nest app on your mobile device to ensure you have the latest data and updates. Additionally, power cycle your Nest camera by unplugging it from the power source, waiting for a few seconds, and then plugging it back in. Double-check the settings within your Nest app to ensure that the camera in question is associated with the correct Google account and that the recording settings are properly configured.
