Good afternoon,
I've had a Nest Wired Doorbell Gen 1 that stopped ringing the inside mechanical door bell chime about 3 weeks ago. I have read several of the previous postings and have not been able to resolve this issue. Here is what I've tested.
Install standard doorbell - Chime works no problem
Nest Gen 1 - Durn on electronic chime and raised and lowered duration - Mechanical Chime doesn't work
Installed New Nest Gen 2 Wired doorbell - Mechanical Chime doesn't work.
Our transformer is a 16v 10VA.
Looking for some assistance.

Several customers in this forum--including us--have upgraded to a 16V 30VA transformer to get both 1st gen and 2nd gen Google Nest Doorbells to function correctly. We have 1st gen Nest Hellos, but judging from posts in this forum, it seems even more true of 2nd gen doorbells.
Did you switch to the 2nd gen 2-wire chime puck when you installed your 2nd gen doorbell? Is it wired correctly?
Some customers in this forum have reported defective 2nd gen chime pucks.

So in replacing the Transform to a 16v 30VA worked to solve the issue.
