Nest (Google) Wireless Doorbell alerts on my iPhone but will not make an audible notification

I have a relatively new Nest doorbell (battery) that I purchased and installed in August 2022. When the doorbell is rung, it visually alerts on my iPhone but will not make an audible notification. My audio is up and my notifications are on, but there must be something I'm doing wrong in the settings of the Google Home app. It defeats the purpose of having it since I miss everyone who comes to the door. What am I doing wrong?

In my experience, sound for notifications for the newer cameras and doorbells that are controlled in the Google Home app are controlled by standard iOS notification settings on our iPhones, under Settings | Notifications | Google Home:

Thanks, but that’s still not it. Already had all those things enabled in my iOS settings. Google really has taken a major step backwards with its Google Home app. The Nest app was, and remains, significantly better.
