Hi
I bought a Nest Hello doorbell in 2018
It has been great, apart from now that the front of the camera is peeling off like a cheep half-price knock-off.
Having spent £200 on a premium product, and continuing to pay to Nest Aware, I cant believe the shocking poor quality of this product.
It literally looks like the brand new outer film has been left on out the box, but of course this is not the case.
Anybody else had this?
I'm out of warranty, so seemingly out of luck.
I've obviously been conned by Nest / Google.

Hi Matt,
I have had this too. Although ours was installed by a professional nest installer so I assumed the film has been taken off. Someone on my post had suggested the film had been left on, I thought may have been the case but a lot of people have posted the same issue.

Had mine for about 1.5 years and the film has completely peeled of allow for water intrusion into the lens. Camera is in 100% shade so sun damage is out of the equation.
Google support basically told me to jog on since it is out of warranty.
Just going to run through these last couple months I have on nest aware then switching to either Ring or hosting my own CCTV setup.
