I am likewise experiencing the peeling of the face of the Nest Hello. At first I thought it was a protective film that was not removed upon installation. Upon further investigation, I found out that it was the actual front of the Nest Hello. Now this doorbell is installed in a north facing porch, and never sees direct sunlight. As i know this is not a rare occurrence, this is a defect in the manufacturing of the product. As it is the first thing you see upon coming to my front door. it would be nice to have a product that doesn't look like it was found in a dumpster.
So what is Google doing about this issue? I've seen a YouTube video where replacements are being provided, and others where people have gone round and round with Google to get this same issue corrected. So what do I need to do?

My Nest Hello is also peeling on the face. It looks awful and people comment all the time. I can’t believe I paid so much for this, and now this happened. I see many people have gotten theirs replaced as this is rare. Seems fairly common by all the posts I’ve seen.
