As others have noted, such as https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Cameras-and-Doorbells/My-Nest-Hello-Doorbell-is-Peeling/m-p/6..., My nest hello doorbell has also started peeling. Support is not helpful but there appears to be a moderator on here named Brad who has been taking care of people and opening replacement cases. I'm hoping he sees this and is willing to help. I know I'm technically out of warranty, but this doorbell is only 2 years old. I would really hope that Google would choose to stand behind their products a bit better than their current support indicates. Very appreciative of any help I can get on this matter. Thanks!

Thanks Brad. After about 45 minutes on the phone, support did ultimately agree to send me a replacement. However, I was surprised that they didn't seem to be aware of this problem. Many people on this forum have contacted support with the exact same issue and were denied an out-of-warranty replacement. I can see you have been helpful to them and I thank you for following up with me on this.

How could they not be aware of the problem? As of tonight, there are 308 threads in this forum on "peeling" Google Nest Hello Doorbells, and another 44 threads on "delaminating" doorbells, with most of them denied a replacement. One of our Nest Hello doorbells is peeling. In addition, two of our Nest Hello doorbells are also plagued with another common defect, failing internal batteries that cause the camera to go offline briefly whenever the doorbell button is pressed. We completed the "form" provided in this forum for the failing batteries but Google Nest never responded. After contacting our state's Attorney General's office, Google Nest said that since our warranties expired on July 30, 2021 and Sept. 23, 2021, "we are unable to provide a refund or replacement". I'm glad you were able to get a replacement.
