Hi, I have the Nest Hello (Wired version) and when someone rings the door it plays the chime on my Nest Hub. I have found 2 issues here:
Same issue as this one:
https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Cameras-and-Doorbells/Google-Nest-Doorbell-Battery-only-rings...
I wonder if there's a solution now or I should just return the product like what the other party in the thread did (it's a hassle to uninstall...)
Thanks,
AY

@janx6 Hello, I'm an end user like you. I have had the nest cameras for about 5 years and I really like them. However I sadly have to agree with you that the as the product has evolved there are many design flaws that are never addressed.
I have the HELLO doorbell and (2) Google (gen 2) Hubs as well and they do exactly what you described. I think the reason for things only ringing once is because they built in some cool-down timing. I suspect a number of minute have to go by before you hear it ring again. And I sure the out of sync is just because each stream from the camera to the hub is an individual stream. Music does not have video so that makes it harder to keep them in perfect sync (of course speculation on my part).
Sorry Google but this has been my experience with your products and no matter how many times I provide feedback and no matter how many times I tell others to provide feedback nothing ever gets fixed. Instead you go off on some other design tangent working on things that would only be useful once the basic things work better.

Hello everybody,
@janx6, thanks for reaching out here in the Community. We would recommend you to restart your Nest devices, Wi-Fi router and tell your Nest speaker "Sync my devices" after the restart. Let us know how it goes.
I appreciate your response, EmptyNester.
Regards,
Emerson
