Nest Hello, peeling and Glass fell off

Hi, I've had the Nest Hello Doorbell for just over 2 years. The fact that i feel i need to replace it while the product technically still functions is very concerning to me.

Anyone here know of an alternative that can last more than two years?

All of my home gadgets are sporting the Google logo, but i'm starting to feel that this was a mistake.

I've contacted Google/Nest in the past about the peeling issue but i was just told there was nothing that they could do, but ever since the glass fell off (the one that protects the lens) i think i may jump ship, and look else where to start replacing my home gadgets.

Any advice/ words of wisdom?

I have the same issue with my Nest Hello, this peeling is awful and Google is not doing anything about it which is a huge disappointment.

Same issue here, peeling started, once fully peeled the glass fell out, i glued it back in but now its seems to be turning on and off spontaneously, im guessing water ingress has finally killed it off

Got the same issue now. I just noticed that the glass also popped out.

I'm also having the same issue with both peeling and glass falling out. This is clearly a design flaw as my nest hello is in a covered balcony and doesn't get any direct sunlight.
