Just wondering if anyone else has experience of their doorbell starting to flake and peel. Doesn't look incredibly nice on a premium product that is designed to live outside the front door. Has anyone tried fixing this or managed to re-coat it in any way? Neighbors were quite impressed to start with but now are quite unsure with how it's starting to look.

Same here! After 2 years of usage, the glass around the button and camera is starting to peel off.
Talked with support for an hour hoping to get a replacement but not lock. The had me on hold for 15 minutes while the support agent was trying to reach his boss but no answer.

I have an advance replacement being sent out. Should be here tomorrow. New doorbell on and replacement to be sent back in the new ones packaging.

Same issues for me just noticed the peeling this morning so not even think I have had it for a year yet. Maybe I should have went with Ring option but I liked the sleekness of the Nest.

Got a hole thru your chatting system with support agents and they were able to take care of the peeling issue with my nest hello door bell. Already got a replacement. Hope this new one does not deteriorate with time!

I have a similar issue with the product peeling. It's about 2 years old. What can I do to have this issue addressed.

I have contacted google support people.
They wanted to have a copy of the receipt and a picture of the door bell. I was also out of warranty but was able to have a replacement for free.
The first answer I got from support was that they would not replace the unit since it is out of warranty. After some arguments with the support agent, I was able to have his “senior support agent” to accept the trade.

I am so sorry to hear that you are having a similar issue with it peeling! I can imagine this has been a frustration for you.
