Nest Outdoor Camera Scrubbing

This issue has happened before and was resolved but is happening again. I cannot scrub through my 24/7 video footage. The video just stays still while I go through the timeline of the day.

To better understand the issue you're experiencing and its cause, please provide the information requested below:

  • Do you have a Nest Cam Outdoor (wired, 1st or 2nd gen) or a Nest Cam Outdoor or Indoor (battery) model?
  • Are you signed into the Nest app or the Google Home app? If so, are you signed into the correct account?
  • Can you check the camera's live feed?
  • Do you have a Google Home Premium subscription? If so, what type of Google Home Premium subscription do you have?
  • Are you experiencing this issue only when accessing the 24/7 video history, or does it also happen when accessing recorded events?
  • How is the general internet connection? Are there any known issues, such as devices going offline, slow download speeds, or a large number of people using the network simultaneously?
