Nest Outdoor Cameras are not built to be outdoors and the wiring will eventually fray because they were vastly overpriced yet cheaply made junk just like most things Google. Best advice I can give anyone with Google Nest Outdoor Cameras is to replace them with real outdoor rated cameras from reputable companies of which Google/Nest is not one. Oh and don't get me started on the lack of support from Google.
