Hello
Yet another Nest IQ Cam that has failed after just 2.5 years.
Anyone here in the UK had any success getting a Nest IQ Cam tested and repaired. Google support suggests taking it into "any good camera repair shop".
Looking at the camera, the first issue is how do you even get inside the thing? I suspect bonded components. Hence, some specialised tools and knowledge are required.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

I have never found a place that repairs this kind of technology here in the U.S. The micro components inside are not anything that can be found or swapped. I think your best, fastest and easiest solution is to buy a used camera on Ebay or where ever. I have done that here with 2 cams and had good luck. Also, I have found that the regular Outdoor camera (not the IQ) is a lot cheaper and really does quite well for what I need. For me the IQ is a bit overkill.
Hope this helps.

Yes, thank you for your response.
I'm coming to the same conclusion. 😐
