Nest app keeps dropping offline every time I open it

Hi Every time I log on to my Nest app it keeps closing down and won’t let me check cameras .. I also have an in door camera… on my app is 2 cameras and 1 smoke alarm. When I check back on past video it keeps freezing and drops out again. I have reinstalled my app .. I logged out and even contacted nest a while back & was told my wifi was the problem when I am logging into my nest app. ?? I don’t think I have to log out of my wifi every time I want to check my cameras. Another issue I find is when I’m away my cameras keep dropping out and have lots of missing video history & I’ve noticed this every time I’m away. Please help and keep it simple ! Thanks

I definitely understand how frustrating your situation must be, and I wanted to make sure that your concern was acknowledged. Do you still need help with this issue? Yes I do … it’s been going on quite a while .. I noticed it more after I signed up for annual payment which changed my membership 

it’s very frustrating as every time I check on my cameras it keeps closing !!!

Your issues are connected to internet/wifi issues. Your app and cameras will not behave this way if you have a steady strong connection. What you can try in the meantime is to restart your wifi router, and then restart your cams. See if things improve, but I would suggest getting your cameras closer to your wifi, or your wifi closer to your cameras.

Hi Brad

the wifi is not the problem because the cameras do not drop out … I can’t get the nest app to stay on or look at clicks … as it keeps going off all the time … if it was my wifi the camera would drop out all the time and it doesn’t
