Nest aware is not linking to my nest cams

My nest cam does not seem to be connected to the nest aware account that I recently purchased

Is there no history for your camera in the Google Nest app or Google Home app?

Is your camera in the same Google Nest "home/structure" as your camera?

You can check your Nest Aware subscription in either the Google Nest app or Google Home app by going to Settings | Nest Aware.
