When I purchased and set up my teo nest outdoor battery cams I was under the impression they would store a total of 3 hours of footage in each camera's "history" without any subscription. When I log into the app to look at my camera's footage that has been saved, the prior day's footage is deleted. I had Interpreted this feature to mean that a total of 3 hours of history would be saved regardless of which day or how many days ago the footage was captured, i.e. 3 total hours of captured event footage. Am I correct in understanding that really this feature means only "up to 3 hours of footage within the last 3 hours is captured"? In other words, if I have a 2 minute clip within the last 3 hours as the only footage that's all I'll get? This feels a little bit like false advertising or at least unfair advertising because I was under the impression I would get 3 hours of clips which could be, say, 6 days worth of clips at half an hour a-day of recorded history. Anyone else confused by this? @customerhelp @UpsetCustomer @NestCustomer @MplsCustomer

I am just another Google Nest customer, but it's clear from numerous replies in this forum from Google Nest Community Specialists that "you can get up to 3 hours of event video history without a subscription" means that without a subscription you have access to event video history that has occurred within the most recent 3 hours. There have been questions and confusion about this ever since the new cameras became available in Sept. 2021.
Our own battery camera is plugged in with the optional power cable (the only practical alternative in Minnesota) and is covered by the Nest Aware Plus subscription that covers all of our cameras and doorbells.

Yep 3 hours event histoey then it's deleted google dont make this a well known fact hey. I was told by the salesman at the dept store i didn't need to subscribe at all. I was lied to at the dept store and been lied to ever since by google for over a year now by their so called support team. My cameras have never worked properly at all and never as advertised.
