Nest battery can wired outside

Installed nest battery camera outside, wired and plugged in.  Is’nt it suppose to recharge the battery automatically or do I still have to take it down and recharge it and put it back up each time.??

We've had a battery camera for 19 months, plugged in with the optional 10-meter power cable. It's "Live" all the time and the battery remains charged without having to dismount it.

Be sure the USB connection is plugged in snugly and the cable is feeding towards the FRONT of the camera.

I purchased 2 more nest cameras.  Missing chargers in box.  How can I get replacement charger for cameras.
