Nest battery doorbell device offline

Over the last month there has been several occasions when my nest doorbell randomly shows as device offline in the Google home app.

It also happens to my google home hub max.

Everytime it has happened while away from home and the only way to fix the issue is to power on and off the WiFi when I return home.

I know there was no power cut or loss of Internet in the house so don't know why this keeps happening.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hello,,  I'm an end user as well.   Over the last few years I have seen a number of people reporting this same intermittent issue.    And often they have the Google WIFI mesh system which is plagued with problems.   If you are on that system you will want to make sure the Nest Mesh WIFI has all the firmware updates... which is a little hard to do since it is Google that determines when the firmware updates roll out. They are not like NORMAL companies.

Hopefully some other users will pop in here with a few ideas but in the mean time I would open an official support ticket so that you can speak with a google tech person on the phone.  Note:  Anticipate an hour or so as they will want to walk you thru  the 10 things you have already tried.

Here is the link:  If you get this resolved please come back and let us know how  it got fixed.
