Nest cam indoor 2 no sound notifications

Hi! I bought several Nest Cam Indoor v2. Unfortunately I cannot add these in the Nest app om iOS;  I have to add them in the Google Home app… after adding them to Google Home they wont show up in the Nest app… 

So, I can view the cameras in the Google Home app, but unfortunately there does not seem to be an option sound push notification…  why not? This is essential! 🙂

Yeah, you're right. There is no option for Sound notifications except for Carbon Monoxide and Smoke alarms. That's because Google Nest decided to make the new Google Nest cameras and doorbells released starting in the fall of 2021 work ONLY in the Google Home app and NOT in the Google Nest app or on the home.nest.com website. Other functionality is therefore also missing, like the "Enhance" feature and the ability to manually edit clips.

We found this out when we added a Google Nest Camera (Battery) in September 2021. For what it's worth, you can find Google's rationale--and customer reactions--in this blog in this forum:
