Turn off talk and listen chime using google home app

I recently got a Nest camera, and it looks like when it was using the Nest app, you could turn off the talk and listen chime sound, but with the Google Home app now you can't. Is there a workaround?

You're right. The "Talk and Listen" chime cannot be turned off for the new Google Nest cameras released starting in the fall of 2021 that work only with the Google Home app (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9219455). It's just another capability we lost with Google Nest's decision to make the new cameras work only in the Google Home app,

That's what I figured. Thanks. This makes the functionality useless for our use-case as we need to be able to quietly speak via the camera, and with the audio chime there's no way to do that.
