Nest camera (battery) not recording 24/7

Nest camera (battery) not recording 24/7. I have Nest Aware Plus and I have plugged it in the the waterproof google nest cord adapter. I was told by Google that this would record 24/7 as long as I had nest aware plus. However, it does not record 24/7.

Is the power cable correctly feeding towards the FRONT of the camera, is the USB plug seated firmly in the bottom of your camera, and is the outlet continuously powered? If so, you should see "Plugged in" with an infinity symbol when you go to Settings | Battery in the Google Home app, and your battery should remain charged. If you go to Settings | Video | Video history, do you have "60-day event and 10-day 24/7 video history" checked? If so, you should get 21/7 recording. That's been the case with our battery camera for almost 21 months.
