Nest camera "connected to another account" even though I have no other accounts

I have a Nest Camera for my new puppy. It works perfect. We were away this weekend, and it was the first time traveling with the puppy so we brought the camera. The camera wouldn't work of course since we weren't on our home wifi, so I removed it from the home and created a new "home" called Travel and tried to install it there.

Adding it to Travel failed, because the camera was connected to another account.

When we got home, I readded it to Home...and that ALSO failed because the camera was connected to another account.

I fully deleted the Travel home profile. Same result. I'm SOL.

Advice?

I have! I deleted the other Home. There’s no other Home this device could be in.

I would suggest that you Factory Reset the device and try again. You can learn how to Factory Reset here
