Nest camera wired doorbell

Sorry i didn't reply in time and my other post got closed.   I tried all the suggestions in my previous post with no luck.   I have the green dot light on my doorbell,  but the ring aground the push button didn't do anything and has no light.   I've rechecked all connections and everything is connected properly.   This doorbell worked perfect for about 1 year before it just stopped completely.   Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you mind listing what the suggestions were that you tried?

I have reset my router,  reset my doorbell,  and did a complete factory reset on my doorbell as well.   Yesterday i disconnected all the wires and re did everything from scratch just to make sure everything was connected correctly.

I am terribly sorry to hear that you are having this issue! I would suggest that you look into this Troubleshooting Guide to see what the issue could be. It sounds like maybe a Schedule or something is keeping the camera from working properly. If you have a solid green light, that would mean it is on and connected, but the lack of light ring lighting up, could mean that there are some power issues. Do you have a multimeter that you could check the power?

Best Regards,

Brad.

I don't have one of those.   I hooked up my original doorbell,  and it worked just fine.   It seems like my Google doorbell just completely stopped working?

Can anyone help?  My doorbell isn't quite a year old.   It shouldn't have stopped working already.

Have you tried to use a multimeter to check on the power? It could be having some Power issues. Please look at the Power Requirements for the Nest Hello to see if this could be the root of the issue.

Best Regards,

Brad

I just went out and bought a volt meter to check it.   It says 17v at the doorbell.

This doorbell worked fine for almost a year before this happened.
