Nest camera with floodlight

Hello everyone,

My wired nest camera with floodlight keeps telling me the battery is low. I checked the magnet and the wiring to the camera and it's connected just fine. The floodlight works but the battery goes from 15% to 0 then recharges to may 2/3 then dies again.

I've removed the device from Google home and add it back, that didn't work. I've turned the camera off and back on that didn't work. Can someone help me please?

Hello,    A few questions:

#1 How old is your camera?   The reason I ask is it seems like the internal battery on these cameras are good for about 3 to 5 years.  After that they just don't charge up.    If your camera is less than a year then there is a good chance Google will replace it under the Warranty.

#2 Is there any chance that the AC outlet that it is plugged into has a wall switch or timer that is getting turned on/off and the camera starts to charge but then the power gets turned off?
