Nest cameras and doorbell always offline and delayed notifications

Preza

Hi guys, I've had these cameras for about 6 months and had nothing but issues, my cameras go offline randomly when they want, there are delayed notifications, someone will ring my door bell and I have no idea they're there.. 5 minutes later the doorbell chime goes off... I can't view live video because it attempts to connect then the cameras go offline.  I have tried the following

- Router swaps

- Router reset

- Wifi channel changing

- Resetting all cameras and nest door bell .

The most likely cause is Wi-Fi issues. This Google Nest Help topic touches on some possibilities, but this forum has numerous posts with suggested solutions.

Over a year now and mine are no better. Thats just the way they are. Not fit for purpose at all.

Hi everyone,

@Preza and @Anonymous, thanks for reaching out here in the Community and for sharing here the steps you've done. To confirm, how far are your Nest Cameras and Nest Doorbell from your Nest Wifi router? Try resetting them to the factory default, remove them from your app and add them back. Let us know how it goes.

I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.

Bahahaha these generic replies are becoming very worn. When are google going to admit its their inferior products and software that are at fault?
