Nest door bell camera event’s notifications on nest hub 2

Can I get event notifications (not door bell ring notifications ), like person seen on the area, from my nest door bell cameras to the nest hub gen2? If yes then how do I configure that? I only managed to get those notifications on my phone through google home app

The only event notifications we can get on our Nest Hubs and Nest Minis are "Visitor announcements" when a Google Nest doorbell is pressed.

I've seen posts on this that are more than 2 years old, where Google was supposedly going to work on the nest cameras notifying the hubs. However, that feature still doesn't seem to be available which is utterly ridiculous. If the nest doorbells can notify the hub why can't the nest cameras?

I appreciate your update and we're glad that your previous issue is resolved now. The sound event detection is not available as well as the timestamps and we don't have any news to share about applying these features to the Google Home app. We're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take it as feedback. I'd suggest you send yours with our Send Feedback form to let the Google Engineering team know about your concern. While they won't respond directly back to you, this is the best way to let them know about this.
